Liver test
Our liver function test is used to check bilirubin and urobilinogen in urine samples as an aid to investigate liver and gallbladder problems. The test gives results by visual comparison with a color chart printed on the package.
Why do you need to test for bilirubin?
If you suspect liver problems, you should measure bilirubin levels in the blood, as well as if you suspect gallbladder problems. A sign that bilirubin levels are elevated in the body is that the skin on the body and the whites of the eyes take on a yellowish tone.
Here's how the self-test works
Open the foil packet and take out the test stick.
Urinate in a cup/beaker and dip the test stick.
Read the answer after about 1 minute. Read the results by comparing the colors of the reaction on the strip to those in the chart. During comparison keep the strip in a horizontal position to avoid possible mixing of colors between the two reaction areas on the strip
