This saliva detects 12 commonly used drugs. A multi-test is useful if you are not sure what drugs the test person is using. The saliva test works by putting a swab in the mouth and then placing it back in a tube.
Cut-off:
- Opiates (OPI) 40 ng/mL
- Oxycodone (OXY) 50 ng/mL
- Methamphetamine (MET) 50 ng/mL
- Amphetamine (AMP) 50 ng/mL
- Cocaine (COC) 20 ng/mL
- Benzodiazepines (BZO) 50 ng/mL
- Barbiturates (BAR) 50 ng/mL
- Spice (K2) 25 ng/mL
- Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) 50 ng/mL
- Tramadol (TML) 30 ng/mL
- Phencyclidine "angel dust" (PCP) 10 ng/mL
- Cannabis (THC) 12 ng/mL
ExecutionAllow the test to reach room temperature (15-30 °C) before testing. Avoid food, drink, chewing gum or tobacco for at least 10 minutes before testing.
1. remove the test device from the sealed pouch and collect the oral fluid sample as follows:
Important: Place the tongue against the upper and lower jaw and rotate to enrich saliva production before testing.
Insert the swab into the mouth, actively swab around the gums on both sides of the mouth and under the tongue and chew the swab tenderly, placing the swab under the tongue for a total of 2-3 minutes until the swab is fully saturated. Gently pressing the top between the tongue and teeth helps to saturate the top with saliva. No hard areas should be felt on the swab when it is saturated.
2. Remove the swab from the mouth. Place the swab in the test cup and screw the collector to squeeze the swab completely to release the saliva. Place the test cup on a clean and flat surface. Remove the Peel off label, wait for the flow to appear in the test windows and start a timer.
If a product does not go into the oral fluid collection after 3 minutes, please turn the oral fluid cup and wet the product.
3. read the test results after 3-10 minutes.
If all lines are clearly visible after 3 minutes or earlier, the test can be interpreted as negative and discarded. If any lines are not visible after 3 minutes, the test should be read again at 10 minutes.
Interpretation of results:NEGATIVE:* Two lines appear. One red line should be in the control region (C), and one to
adjacent obvious red or pink line should be in the test region (T). This negative result
indicates that the drug concentration is below detectable level.
*NOTE: The shade of red color in the test region (T) may vary, but the test should be considered
negative if it is even a faint pink line.
POSITIVE: A red line appears in the control region (C). No line appears in the test region
(T). This positive result indicates that the drug concentration is above the detectable level.
ERROR: The control line does not appear. Insufficient sample volume or incorrect execution are
the most likely reasons for the control line not appearing. Review the procedure and
repeat the test with a new test strip. If the problem persists, discontinue the procedure and contact
your local supplier.
The test is CE marked.
